Setup Guide

Follow these simple steps to install and activate ProjectCortex in your browser.

Download & Prepare

  • Download the project using the button in the top right.
  • Extract the downloaded project archive.
  • Inside the extracted files, you will find a folder named Cortex-v6.0.0.

Relocate to C: Drive

Cut and paste that Cortex-v6.0.0 folder into your root C:\\ drive.

Browser Installation

  • Open your browser and go to the Settings page.
  • Click on Extensions.
  • Turn ON Developer mode.
  • Click on the Load unpacked button.
  • Select the C:\\Cortex-v6.0.0 folder.

Configuration & Activation

  • Click on the extension button in your toolbar.
  • Click on Cortex-v6.0.0, then click on Settings.
  • Activate the extension using your license key.
  • Set all variables (preferred AI model, etc.) and turn ON the main Toggle button.
  • Restart the browser to ensure everything initializes properly.

Troubleshooting

If ProjectCortex isn't appearing or working on a webpage after installation, follow these quick steps:

STEP A
Click the extension button in the toolbar, click on ProjectCortex, then click on Settings.
STEP B
Refresh the Settings page.
STEP C
Again turn the master Toggle ON.
STEP D
Restart the web page you are trying to use it on (do not restart the browser).

Important Warning

After completing the setup, export your settings and save the file in a safe place. If you mistakenly delete the Cortex-v6.0.0 folder, clear your browser history, or remove your extension, this exported settings file will help you to easily reactivate your extension!
